Detroit Pistons Preview: Van Gundy, Andre Drummond & Counting on Stanley Johnson
Last season was about getting the Detroit Pistons back in the playoffs. This season? Probably doing the same, and hoping for better. The Detroit Pistons have a very good head coach in Stan Van Gundy, and a nice core to build around with Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson. But for now, they look like a team that can be good to very good, nothing more.

NBA Summer League, Day 3 – Marcus Smart & Dante Exum Outshine Rookies; Jahlil Okafor Not Bad Either
The third day of the NBA Summer League meant spreading out to other locations. Games were still going on in Orlando, with Myles Turner, Mario Hezonja, Aaron Gordon, Mitch McGary, Justise Winslow and Stanley Johnson doing well as usual, while in Salt Lake City Jahlil Okafor had a nice debut, while Marcus Smart and Dante Exum stole the show from the rookies in the other game.

NBA Summer League, Day 1 – Frank Kaminsky Makes a Strong First Impression
The Charlotte Hornets first round draft pick, Frank Kaminsky, probably gave the strongest performance on the first day of the NBA Summer League in Orlando out of the rookies in action, although Mario Hezonja, Stanley Johnson, Justise Winslow and Myles Turner didn’t do too badly either.
