  • Good for Manning & Broncos, Bad for Tebow & the Team That Signs Him

Peyton Manning was simply the better, needless to say obvious choice. One of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, despite his multiple srugeries, is something you go for, despite the cost, when the other option is Tim Tebow. John Elway never really caught on to Tebowing and the fan craze around the unconventional quarterback, and made the right decision.

  • MLB’s Top Ten Active Home Run Leaders – 2012 Edition

Alex Rodriguez has 133 home runs to go before he makes it to Barry Bonds, and conquers what used to be the most prestigious record in American Sports, also with an asterisk to it. Injuries will probably prevent him from reaching that spot, but he’s still the leader among active players, PED’s or not.

  • Real Madrid & Jose Mourinho Too Good to Start Slipping Now

Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho have a chance of doing something special this season. Upstaging Barcelona in both the league and the Champions League while setting records as a team, while the Special one has a chance of becoming the first manager to win the Champions League with three different clubs. Talking and whining about unimportant things can just derail the team from it’s incredible path.

  • Nothing New About Dwyane Wade Taking Over in the Fourth

Dwyane Wade led the Heat in scoring with 31 points, but most importantly in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 in the final period. Chris Bosh had his best game since returing from mourning, while LeBron James had an impressive stat line in all but scoring as Miami beat the visiting Orlando Magic 91-81.

  • 2012 NFL Free Agency – Nothing But Matt Flynn

Matt Flynn dominated the NFL newswire. Yes, it was such a slow day. In general, it was a quarterback kind of Sunday. Alex Smith went out to meet the folks down in Florida for the growing more desperate San Francisco 49ers, while Peyton Manning kept throwing for the Titans, who look like the closest thing to signing the biggest name on the free agent list.

  • 2012 NCAA Tournament – Kendall Marshall Injury and Tar Heels Hopes

Kendall Marshall broke his wrist, and the North Carolina Tar Heels suddenly don’t look so good. Despite the 87-71 win in the third round over Creighton, sending them into the sweet sixteen for the fifth time in six years, the mood isn’t great. Marshall, who led the team with 18 points and 11 assists, is probably irreplaceable, and even if he somehow plays, it won’t be the same.

  • Roger Federer Hasn’t Looked This Good in Years

Roger Federer talked earlier this year about his desire, and belief, regarding a return to the number one spot in the World. After winning the 2012 Indian Wells Masters, his third consecutive title this season, he’s still at number 3, but it’s getting easier to believe that he’s bound to win at least one Grand Slam title before the end of the year.

  • Sergio Martinez Deserves A Mega Fight – Meaning Floyd Mayweather

Sergio Martinez and the men around him know that if Martinez would have been better at speaking English (not that you can’t fix that), he would not be flying under the rader. Martinez, winning a fourth straight fight before the judges need to have their say, is the 3rd pound-4-pound fighter in the world right now, not exactly an unknown. Still, it seems his time for topping the rankings is running out.

  • Six Nations Grand Slam Winners Since 2000

Although it sounds impressive, the Grand Slam in the Six Nations era has not been that hard to achieve. Since Italy joined the competition in 2000, 8 Grand Slams have been achieved out of the 13 tournaments. Wales, winning 2012, made it 3 Six Nations grand slams for them, making it even with France, who they beat to capture their fifth win in 2012.

  • Does This Mean Fernando Torres is Good Again?

Last time Fernando Torres scored, before his Leicester double? October 19, 2011, in a Champions League match against Racing Genk. Chelsea beat Leicester 5-2 in the FA Cup to advance into the Semi Finals, keeping it a perfect four for four since Roberto Di Matteo took over. Now, he’s actually managed, maybe, to bring back Torres on the score sheet.
