NBA Rumors – Cleveland Cavaliers Want to Trade Dion Waiters

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA so far this season, which is causing some unrest in the locker room and one unhappy camper in Dion Waiters, which has to do with his role coming off the bench and other things. It seems the issue has gotten so bad the Cavs are looking to trade the second-year player.

Spurs vs Thunder – The Battle For the Best in the West

Right now, there’s now doubt it’s the Oklahoma City Thunder. Yes, one head-to-head win is enough to determine that, with the team’s records being so close, and the San Antonio Spurs being yet another team that failed to win at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, the best home advantage in the NBA until this moment. Even with Russell Westbrook doing his best to ruin it for his team, the bench and the fantastic two-way ability of Serge Ibaka were enough to make up for it.

Houston Rockets – Jeremy Lin Injury Doesn’t Get in the Way

For now, it doesn’t seem like the bruise Jeremy Lin picked up is going to be something that keeps him from playing in the next game for the Houston Rockets. In any case, his absence, and that of James Harden, meant nothing to the surging Rockets, beating the Atlanta Hawks 113-84 with Aaron Brooks and Francisco Garcia picking up the slack with an impressive performance while coming off the bench.

Bulls vs Pistons – Starting to Move in the Right Direction

The initial shock from losing Derrick Rose for the season is over. The Chicago Bulls know what they have to do in order to make something out of this season, and that usually means returning to their famous, tough as nails defense. It’s easy against the terrible Detroit Pistons, winning 99-79, getting a bit more of the excellent form Luol Deng is in, and a surprising bench contribution from Taj Gibson.

Heat vs Cavs – LeBron James Doesn’t Offer Hometown Discounts

Over the last few years, LeBron James has saved some of his best performances as a Miami Heat player for his returns to Cleveland and facing his former team, the scorn Cavaliers, who suddenly want their old franchise player back. That isn’t happening anytime soon, and so isn’t having it easy against the NBA champions, strolling to a 95-84 win, their 8th in a row.

Lakers vs Nets – Jason Kidd is in So Much Trouble

It’s not enough that the Brooklyn Nets are missing their two best players while a rookie head coach, Jason Kidd doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing. During their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kidd intentionally told one of his players to bump into him in order to cause a spill on the court and give him a few extra seconds to draw up a play. It didn’t help, and the Lakers still won 99-94, while Kidd probably landed himself into a heap of trouble.

Chelsea FC – Jose Mourinho Keeps Making Rotation Mistakes

Handling a deep squad shouldn’t be something Jose Mourinho struggles to do, but it seems that either the November curse that always strikes Chelsea or simply the Portuguese manager still not having a full grasp of what’s going on right under his nose is costing his team points both in Europe and in the Premier League, plenty of times due to his own mistakes and sometimes prejudice against certain players.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Doesn’t Need Awards, He Knows He’s the Best

The joint top scorer in the Champions League this season along with Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t going to be enough to propel Zlatan Ibrahimovic when it comes to the Ballon d’Or voting, but the Swedish phenom, leading PSG to the next round in the Champions League and probably another Ligue 1 championship, doesn’t really care about awards. Why should he when he already knows he’s the best footballer in the world?

Bayern Munich – Setting New Record for Consecutive Champions League Wins

Are Bayern Munich the best team in Champions League history? Their dominant run last season in both the Bundesliga and Europe’s elite competition, ending with the lifting of the trophy for the first time in 12 years, certainly hints to that, but maybe it’s their streak of 10 consecutive wins in the competition, something no other team has done before, is an indication to this side’s greatness.

Chelsea FC Transfer Rumors – Trying to Sign Jackson Martinez

One of the most prolific strikers in Europe over the last couple of seasons is the 27-year old Colombian Jackson Martinez, whose scoring for FC Porto has brought the attention of many big clubs around Europe, with Chelsea looking like the most interested party to sign him.
