Dallas Cowboys – Sean Lee Can’t Stop Getting Injured

A defense that can’t afford losing any key players just got a whole lot weaker after Sean Lee tore his ACL which means he’ll miss the entire 2014 NFL season for the Dallas Cowboys, once again finding themselves without a player they were counting on to lead the defensive unit.

NHL Playoffs – Montreal Canadiens Still Alive, New York Rangers Slightly Stunned

Teams with their backs to the wall usually find something extra, and the Montreal Canadiens, constantly outplayed in the Eastern Conference Finals, found that special thing in the form of Rene Bourque, scoring a hat-trick including the two most important goals for his side as they beat the New York Rangers 7-4 to find themselves back in the series, still behind 3-2 but feeling completely different heading into game 6.

NBA Playoffs – San Antonio Spurs Without Answers, Oklahoma City Thunder Oozing Confidence

It’s no longer just Serge Ibaka that’s scaring the San Antonio Spurs. The entire Oklahoma City Thunder team played like it knows it is the best of the two in the Western Conference Finals, winning game 4 at home 105-92, making it a 2-2 series, as Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant couldn’t be stopped, while no one on the Spurs, from Tony Parker to Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard, put in an even respectable game.

The History of World Cup Winners & Hosts

The 2014 World Cup will be the fourth to be hosted by a country that has already had the privilege of doing so, as Brazil try and erase the memories of the tragic loss 64 years ago, when they failed to win the competition for the first time, having to wait eight more years before beginning their dynasty.

  • 23 Best Memes of the Miami Heat & Chris Bosh Destroying Lance Stephenson & the Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers losing to the Miami Heat in game 4 was like a punch in the face to the team with the best record in the Eastern conference. Those suffering the most from the following memes and jokes? Lance Stephenson and his big mouth, Roy Hibbert and his horrible basketball and Paul George for making lame excuses. LeBron James and especially Chris Bosh come out a little bit better.

Transfer Rumors 2014 – Chelsea Interested in Signing Tiago

After five seasons with Atletico Madrid which concluded with winning the La Liga title, Tiago Mendes is out of a contract and not likely to make a return with the Colchoneros. Instead, there seems to be an opening for him in a club he played for in the past, as Chelsea are showing interest in the Portuguese midfielder.

NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Giving up on Thabo Sefolosha, Raising Reggie Jackson

It seems Scott Brooks is finally making adjustments, something he’s always been criticized for not doing and relying on the talent of his players to make up for tactical ability from their head coach. Not that he’s not still putting the ball in the hands of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, but he has made changes to his lineup that weren’t doomed to fail from the beginning, as the return of Serge Ibaka enabled him to give up on Thabo Sefolosha and insert Reggie Jackson into the starting lineup.

  • NBA Playoffs – Paul George Making Excuses, LeBron James Still Isn’t Impressed

NBA Playoffs – Paul George Making Excuses, LeBron James Still Isn’t Impressed

Losers make excuses, winners make adjustments. That’s an actual saying, and clearly Paul George, contradicting himself all throughout the press conference coming after the Indiana Pacers lost to the Miami Heat in game 4 of the Eastern conference, hasn’t heard of it. I’m not sure LeBron James has either, but his coach probably has, and it was quite clear he wasn’t impressed with another player from the inferior team (so far) trying to engage in some sort of trash talk.

  • Transfer Rumors 2014 – Barcelona & PSG Interested in Yaya Toure

Right now no offers are being made for Yaya Toure of Manchester City, but it seems like the Ivorian midfielder is doing everything in his power, making some excessive use of his agent, to find himself a new club. Both Barcelona and now Paris Saint-Germain are very interested in the player, busy sending out hints of where he’d like to go.
