Week 7 of the college football season was filled with big matchups between rivals and highly ranked teams. Michigan hosting Michigan State, Florida playing at LSU and Alabama at Texas A&M. High stakes means the rankings changing as well.

NBA Preseason Scores

The NBA preseason marches on with six games on a Saturday: Orlando Magic winning in Brazil, Sacramento Kings shooting very well against the New Orleans Pelicans, Charlotte Hornets remaining perfect against the New York Knicks, Miami Heat beating the Houston Rockets thanks to their bench, the Washington Wizards overcoming the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers thrashing the Golden State Warriors, maybe because Kobe Bryant wasn’t playing.

MLB Playoffs Scores

The number one team in the nation finally impressed, as Ohio State dominated against Penn State. In a lineup of big ranked vs ranked games, LSU used a late trick play to beat Florida, Michigan botched a punt as time ran out to lose against Michigan State and Alabama ran all over Texas A&M.

A classic semi final between the All Blacks and the Springboks has been set as South Africa beat Wales 23-19 thanks to a late Fourie du Preez try while New Zealand humiliated France 62-13 with a try-fest led by Julian Savea with three.

Premier League – Week 9 Results & Standings

The results of week 9 in the 2015-2016 Premier League season give us another week of Manchester City and Manchester United at the top two spots of the table following impressive wins over Bournemouth and Everton respectively. Liverpool with a new manager drew 0-0 at White Hart Lane against Spurs, Arsenal looked very good against Watford with an away win and Chelsea got back on the horse with a victory against Aston Villa.

Nighttime and Daytime People Significantly Different Genetically

Geneticists from Leicester University in England have identified via a recent study, for the first time, some genetic differences between nighttime and daytime people.The study is based on findings and analysis of fruit flies, leading to discovering nearly 80 genes which can be associated with owls (eveningness) and larks (morningness).
