Arsenal kept pace with Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and closed the gap from Chelsea, beating Fulham 1-0 win Robin Van Persie scoring the winner. This was Van Persie second goal of the season and maybe it’ll open a better period for him, as the Dutchman was struggling in front of the net since the season began.

Not a great game from Arsenal who were pushed back by Fulham quite often during the 90 minutes in Craven Cottage, but grabbed the 3 points in a place where they suffered their first defeat during the 2008-2009 campaign. Any indications for 2009-2010? Too soon to tell.
