Chelsea

The best match of the night as teams from groups E through H of the Champions League was in Paris, as PSG became the first team to beat Barcelona this season in a wonderful 3-2 victory. Chelsea beat Sporting in Lisbon, Bayern Munich slumbered to a victory in Moscow and Manchester City are still without a win after a home draw against Roma.

Group E

CSKA Moscow 0  Bayern Munich 1Thomas Muller converted a penalty kick that shouldn’t have been called, but Bayern were the better team for most of the evening in the early match, remaining perfect through two matches, still not conceding a goal.

Manchester City 1  Roma 1Another match that started with a penalty kick, this time deserved, with Sergio Aguero converting from the spot. Roma equalized quickly through Francesco Totti, becoming the oldest scorer in the history of the competition.
