Federer loses his temper

Posted on 03. Apr, 2009 by admin in Tennis

Extra Extra, read all about it! I mean watch it. Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in the Sony Ericsson Open semi finals in 3 sets, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. Federer blew the game in the final 2 sets after winning the first one, with his forehand shots failing him again and again. Even though we’ve gotten used to seeing roger crying at times, especially at Australia, whether it be a Loss or a Win, this kind of anger outburst as shown by him today after another blunder with his forehand shot is a new high, or low. With Roger failing to accept that he is not the best anymore, and the pressure of reaching Pistol’s Pete 14 Grand Slam titles becoming more and more of a mental burden, is it that surprising something like this has happened? I’m a big fan of the Swiss maestro, but he needs to slowly accept his place in the Tennis world has changed. I always thought Roger had more class than this. Here’s the incident, fresh from the oven.
