Goalkeeper Saves Sporting With 90th Minute Goal

90th Minute – Even the goalkeeper leaves his goal and joins the rest of the players in the 16 meter box, as Sporting Lisbon take a go with another corner to try and save the day. Twente led 1-0 from the second minute, but that didn’t help. Rui Patricio, Sporting Lisbon’s goalkeeper headed the corner, getting a very helpful deflection off a defenders foot, to end the game at 1-1 which meant Sporting went through to the final qualifying stage in the champions league on away goals, after the first leg ended in a 0-0 draw.

    hahaha, he didn’t even hit the ball. The ball hit the defender’s shoulder.

    I think Patricio hit it with his shoulder as well, even maybe a slight touch with his head
