For anyone who likes a good fight or brawl to go with his weekend soccer, to those of you who get bored with just watching goals, here are a few clips and videos of those games that get a bit out of hand… enjoy…
First we go to Argentina where we have the usual case of a player gets the other team angry about someone and soon finds himself running away from an angry mob.
The second one is pretty recent, from about a week ago, and comes from the French Ligue 1. Marseille captain Lorik Cana gets into a fight with Lorient’s Arnaud Le Lan over a throw in.
This one is already a classic, and looks more like two little girls trying to slap each other rather than a real manly fight. The culprits? Luis Fabiano of Sevilla and Diogo of Zaragoza, two years ago in the Spanish La Liga match.
This is one is also one of the more famous fights in Soccer, or more of a knockout. Edmundo of Flamengo gets KO’d from behind, and we even have Romario for a few seconds in the clip.
This one is over 25 years old but I never get tired of seeing it – Diego Armando Maradona while he played for Barcelona back in the early 80′s in this massive all out brawl with players from Athletic Bilbao.
Our Final one is also one of these all out brawls, this time in the Champions League after the game ended between Valencia and Inter Milan players, with one instigator beginning a fight and then running for his life in the middle of the rest of the mess.
