Sunderland Defeat a Pathetic Liverpool Side 1-0

Liverpool lose for the fourth time this season after nine games, producing a performance that can only be described as pathetic or extremely poor. Sunderland beat the Reds for the first time since 2002 and for only the second time since the Premiership began, with Darren Bent scoring a goal that will probably become a legend with Sunderland fans, as his shot bounced off a beach ball/baloon thrown to the pitch by a Liverpool fan, throwing Reina in the wrong direction and sending Liverpool (playing without Torres and Gerrard) to the 8th position, a week before they host Manchester United at Anfield for a game that is probably a must win for Rafa Benitez.

It seems that Liverpool has the same bad luck as the Israeli best team ever (Maccabi TA).
    Gerrard and Nimny rule!!!

No bad luck involved… they’re both not as good as most of the clubs above them in the table.
