New Hope for Liverpool?
Posted on 12. Mar, 2009 by admin.
The Champions League matches this week showed us once again that English soccer rules. All 4 English clubs advanced to the quarter finals, with 3 of those victories coming over Italian teams. Platini and Blatter are not really happy about all this, be assured, with their continental snobby attitude towards the English game blinding them and not allowing them to see where the winds have blown and who rules European soccer, at club level at least. The best teams, players, coaches and yes, the best soccer itself, is located today south of Scotland and north of France. The most impressive of those games was no doubt Liverpool’s Demolition of Real Madrid, a glorious 4-0 victory that sent the Blancos home torn apart and causing turbulence at Santiago Bernabeu which seemed to have resided the past 3 months following their fantastic winning streak.
