Chad le Clos of South Africa, only 20, ended Michael Phelps’ reign at the 200 meters butterfly, overtaking the man with more medals (19) than any other athlete in the history of the Olympic games with one final stroke. But Phelps did get his first gold of the Olympics, anchoring Team USA to gold, alongside Ryan Lochte, winning the 4×200 meters freestyle relay. More
