The 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductees
It was Prime Time yesterday in Canton as Deion Sanders led the 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame with his gold shoes and gold jacket. Sanders wasn’t the only one given the honor – Shannon Sharpe, Richard Dent, Chris Hanburger, Les Richter and the founder of NFL films Ed Sabol, but he was certainly the best player of the bunch and the man to give the most memorable speech and appearance.

Bundesliga Day 1 Round Up
Finally, we got our favorite sport back. Finally, a weekend where I can sit in front of the television from noon till late in the evening and watch my European football. Alex Rodriguez Makes Himself Look Worse Than Ever
Alex Rodriguez just can’t stay away from bad news, from bad press, from doing stupid stuff. Forget about the steroids, we’re on to Hollywood celebrity gambling, poker. For all we know half the players who have hit at least 30 home runs in a single season during the last 25 years have done it illegally. When so many players do it, when so many players get caught, as long as they don’t lie to the Federal Government, they can continue with their careers and life comfortably. Their records stay intact, they keep getting big cash, they just stay out of the hall of fame.

Can Roger Federer Get One More Grand Slam?
Days before turning 30, Roger Federer is mounting up for another title chase and hopefully a 17th Grand Slam before time really runs out for the Swiss legend. As usual, there’s that Rafael Nadal problem in the way, and more.

Saying Goodbye to Bubba Smith
Former NFL Defensive Lineman, Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowler Bubba Smith died yesterday. He did have a great NFL career, but his most memorable moment, in my opinion, is his “Spare Tire” Dixon role, going up against Al Bundy. R.I.P big man.
