5 Best Fantasy Premier League Differentials for GW12

After a crazy week in fantasy premier league land, where John Lundstra brought a whopping return of 21 points (highest this season by any player!), it’s time to look at who are some other affordable players who can help you to win your league and climb up the rankings. Below are 5 differentials options for game week 12.

Jetro Willems – Defender – Newcastle United (1.4% Ownership, Price 4.5M)

After a rocky start to the season, it seems like Newcastle is getting better, with 4 points in their last 2 games including a nice away victory against West Ham United. Jetro Willems did nicely, scoring points with a goal and 2 assists (that’s before we even mention the bonus points). Newcastle upcoming fixtures aren’t bad, and Willems can be a great deferential pick at 4.5m that can get bonus points and attacking returns in addition to clean sheet points.

Emerson Palmieri dos SantosDefenderChelsea F.C. (0.8% ownership, Price 5.5M)

Let’s face it: under Frank Lampard, Chelsea is one of the most exciting teams to watch this season, already netting 25 goals. That being said, their defense hasn’t been superb, conceding 17 times. Emerson is returning from his injury and he is Lampard’s preferred choice at LB. It’s worth mentioning that Marcos Alonso was subbed off at half time in Chelsea’s game against Ajax, so Emerson should start against Crystal Palace this week. Chelsea can easily keep a clean sheet against a sting-less Palace team, and Emerson can easily get some nice attacking returns to go with some clean sheet points.

Son Heung-min – Midfielder – Tottenham Hotspur F.C (6.2% ownership, Price 9.6M)

After Son’s red card against Everton has been overturned, he is available and ready to play against Sheffield United at home this weekend. Son scored twice in the UEFA Champions League match against FK Crvena Zvezda and it seems he put Andre Gomes’ horrible injury behind him. Tottenham must win if they want to try and keep their top 4 inspirations alive. Son should be involved with both assists and goals in their attack. If Spurs can find their form again, Son should be in the center of it, which means a lot of points for managers who took the risk and got him in their team.

Moussa Djenepo – Midfielder – Southampton F.C (0.1% ownership, Price 5.2m)

After an embarrassing home performance against Leicester (0-9!) which resulted in all Saints players donating their weekly salary, the side looked substantially better against Manchester City last week. Saints players have plenty to prove and their upcoming fixtures aren’t bad either, especially after game week 13 (although playing against a leaky Arsenal defense isn’t a bad fixture either). Southampton will play WAT (H), NOR (H), NEW (A), WHU (H), AVL (A), just in time for Djenepo to return from his injury back to the starting lineup. Djenepo scored twice this season before he got injured, and played on as a left- winger, very high on the pitch.

Lys Mousset – Forward – Sheffield United (0.8% Ownership, Price 4.9M)

Lys Mousset has delivered big returns last week with 3 assists in the last home game victory 3-0 against Burnley. With a tally of 3 goals and 3 assists this season, Mousset needs to be on the radar of a lot of fantasy football managers. With 11% of managers playing Greenwood (4.3m) as a third forward bench fodder, Mousset can offer a nice upgrade to your team with a change of formation to 3-4-3 or 4-3-3.
