  • Monday Night Football – Bears vs Cowboys Predictions

Two teams that thought their offense would carry them this season are figuring it out it’s not that simple. Both the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears have mostly their defense to thank for when looking at their 2-1 records, heading into their Monday Night Football clash.

  • College Football – Week 5 Rankings

Grabbing a quite comfortable SEC win, Alabama are now a unanimous number one team, for the first time this season, while LSU’s unimpressive win over Towson dropped them another spot. Florida State are number 3 for the first time in almost a decade while Northwestern make the rankings for the first time since 2008.

With week 5 of the 2012 College Football season behind us, we have undefeated teams: 1 of the ACC (Florida State), 5 from the Big 12 (Kansas State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia), 3 from the Big East (Rutgers, Cincinnati, Louisville), 2 in the Big Ten (Ohio State, Northwestern), 1 in the MAC (Ohio), 2 in the Pac-12 (Oregon, Oregon State), 6 in the SEC (Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State), 2 in the WAC (UTSA, Louisiana Tech) and Notre Dame.

  • College Football – Week 5 Predictions

The national champions and number 1 team in the nation, Alabama, should continue their perfect start hosting a worse than their record team in Ole Miss, while Oregon have a tricky visit to Seattle against Washington State and LSU play another FCS team. West Virginia make their Big 12 debut hosting Baylor, while Ohio State facing Michigan State is another interesting ranked teams matchup.

  • Joe Flacco Still Short of Greatness (Browns vs Ravens)

There’s something missing, despite the great numbers Joe Flacco posted, which put him on top of the AFC in passing yards this season. An opponent like the Cleveland Browns should have been easier to crack for a quarterback who sees himself as the best in the NFL, instead of struggling for a 23-16 win.

  • Keith Price Makes One Play More than Jose Nunes (Stanford vs Washington)

If the Stanford Cardinal had any hopes of contending for anything more than the Pac-12, Washington squashed them. Two teams without a lot of offense and some great defense, and a quarterback that pulled off that one big play (Keith Price) facing Josh Nunes, who just didn’t get that kind of support from his receivers.

After 25 years as the head coach of Nebraska’s College football team; after five years as the university’s athletic director, Tom Osborne is leaving the school he helped turn into a national powerhouse and later on help rebuild as the AD, also working to secure a better future.
