College Basketball Conference Tournaments Finals & Semifinals Scores
It’s time for Selection Sunday, following the conclusion of the conference tournaments in the ACC (North Carolina wins), Big 12 (Kansas), Big East (Seton Hall !!!) and the Pac-12 (Oregon). In the SEC it’s Kentucky vs Texas A&M in the final, while Michigan State will play Purdue for the Big Ten Conference tournament title.

The first real busy day of conference tournament games in all the major conferences, as things were close in the ACC, including Duke squeaking by North Carolina State, and the Big 12. In the Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 and SEC, it was more about blowouts on their way to the second round or quarterfinals.

Championship week is really on its way when the big conference kick things off. The ACC started out a day ahead of everyone with North Carolina State beating Wake Forest and Florida State moving onto the second round as well, having no problem beating the awful Boston College, who have failed to win a single conference game this season.

College Basketball Rumors – Duke Blue Devils, North Carolina Tar Heels Had a Bad Day
A couple of firsts for both Duke and North Carolina on the same day, as the Blue Devils were not included in the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since the preseason rankings of the 2007-2008 season, while the Tar Heels, losing 71-65 at Louisville, were beaten for the first time this season in ACC play.

This weekend in Men’s Basketball was mostly about the Big 12 – SEC challenge with Oklahoma, the number one team in the country, holding off LSU in the Buddy Hield vs Ben Simmons matchup. Other high ranking teams that won were Kansas over Kentucky, North Carolina easily against Boston College and Texas A&M in the showdown with Iowa State.
