Maverick Rowan North Carolina State Wake Forest

Championship week is really on its way when the big conference kick things off. The ACC started out a day ahead of everyone with North Carolina State beating Wake Forest and Florida State moving onto the second round as well, having no problem beating the awful Boston College, who have failed to win a single conference game this season.

#13 Wake Forest 72  #12 North Carolina State 75: The Wolfpack set themselves up with a game against Duke by beating the Demon Deacons, as Maverick Rowan and Anthony Barber did most of the work. Rowan scored 24 points with six three-pointers while Barber finished with 22 points and six assists. Wake Forest, who were only 2-16 this season in conference play, were in the game from start to finish, but shooting just 37.3% from the field and being unable to convert on their final possession, which consisted of three missed shots and two offensive rebounds, ended their 2015-2016 season.

#14 Boston College 66  #11 Florida State 88: As expected, BC finish their ACC season without a single win, bowing out without much of a fight against the Seminoles, who could be a dangerous team in the tournament, set up to play against Virginia Tech in the next round. The 8-10 Seminoles shot 58.6% from the field and 53.3% from beyond the arc, as Devon Bookert led the way scoring 15 points, while Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley had 13 points each.
