Florent Manaudou of France in the men’s 50 meters freestyle. Chad le Clos of South Africa in the men’s 100 meters butterfly. Emily Seebohm of Australia in the women’s 200 meters backstroke. Sarah Sjostrom of Sweden in the women’s 50 meters butterfly. The Americans got a second gold medal in the mixed 4×100 meters freestyle relay, setting a new world record with the team of Ryan Lochte, Nathan Adrian, Simone Manuel and Missy Franklin.

    Day 6 in the swimming pool was highlighted by two gold medals for Australia – Mitch Larkin in the men’s 200 meters backstroke and Bronte Campbell in the women’s 100 meters freestyle. Great Britain picked up a wonderful gold in the 4×200 men’s freestyle relay thanks to James Guy, Marko Koch of Germany picked up gold in the men’s 200 meters breaststroke and Kanako Watanbe of Japan brought gold in the women’s 200 meters breastroke.

Ledecky got her fourth gold of the championship by closing the 4×200 freestyle relay. Ning Zetao of China won the men’s 100 meters freestyle and compatriot Fu Yanhui won the women’s 50 meters backstroke. Natsumi Hoshi of Japan won the gold in the women’s 200 meters butterfly race.

    In the fourth day of swimming in the world aquatic championships, Adam Peaty took two gold medals – one in the 50 meters breaststroke and the other in the mixed 4×100 meters medley relay. Sun Yang of China won the men’s 800 meters freestyle again, Laszlo Cseh took gold in the men’s 200 meters butterfly and Katie Ledecky now has three gold medals from the Kazan meet after winning the women’s 200 meters freestyle.
