NFL Power Rankings Week 6

Despite not playing this week, the undefeated Minnesota Vikings remain on top of our power rankings, and holding off the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys for best team in the NFL. At the bottom, the Cleveland Browns without a win continue to be in a class of their own, with the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets doing their best to try and match them.

Minnesota Vikings (5-0): Only undefeated team remaining, the Vikings have given up only 12.6 points per game so far this season.

New England Patriots (5-1): The Patriots still haven’t thrown an interception this season, something that has happened just twice before through the first six games.

Seattle Seahawks (4-1): The Seahawks are 4-1 for the first time since 2013.

Dallas Cowboys (5-1): The Cowboys ran for 191 yards vs the Packers in their Sunday win, while Green Bay allowed only 171 rushing yards through the previous four games.

Denver Broncos (4-2): Trevor Siemian attempted 50 passes in the loss to the Chargers, and only one of his completions went over 10 yards.

Buffalo Bills (4-2): The Bills lead the NFL in rushing yards (166.3 per game), while ranking in the top 5 in both points for and against.

Washington Redskins (4-2): The Redskins offensive line is doing a great job, and Washington averaged 3.35 yards on the ground before any contact.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-2): The Eagles allowed 115 rushing yards after contract in the loss to the Redskins, after allowing only 91 in all the games combined before.

Atlanta Falcons (4-2): Julio Jones is the first receiver to post a 100-yard receiving game against the Seahawks this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2): The Steelers have gone 8-8 without Ben Roethlisberger since he made his debut for them.

Green Bay Packers (3-2): In his last seven games, Rodgers has been sacked 22 times and thrown six interceptions.

Arizona Cardinals (3-3): With his 138 total yards from scrimmage, David Johnson has taken the NFL lead for total yards from scrimmage on the season. He has 833, 32 more than Ezekiel Elliott.

New York Giants (3-3): The Giants 27 points against the Ravens is tied for their season high. They’re averaging only 19.3 points per game this season, 25th in the NFL.

Kansas City Chiefs (3-2): Alex Smith completing over 86% of his throws is a team record for accuracy on more than 20 attempts.

Oakland Raiders (4-2): The Chiefs managed to limit Amari Cooper to just one catch and 12 yards in the second half of their win over the Raiders.

Houston Texans (4-2): Brock Osweiler in the only quarterback in the NFL with two 4th quarter comebacks of 14 points or more over the last two seasons.

San Diego Chargers (2-4): For all of their problems this season, the Chargers are 3rd in the NFL in points scored so far.

Baltimore Ravens (3-3): The Ravens lead the NFL with 52 penalties and are on pace to tie the franchise record for most flags in a season.

Detroit Lions (3-3): Golden Tate had more receiving yards in the win over the Rams than in weeks 1 through 5 combined.

Los Angeles Rams (3-3): Todd Gurley hasn’t run for more than 85 yards in one game, and is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry.

Indianapolis Colts (2-4): Adam Vinatieri is two kicks away from breaking Mike Vanderjagt’s record for most consecutive field goals made.

Tennessee Titans (3-3): The Titans scored a touchdown on their first possessions of the first and second half in the win over the Browns.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-4): The Bengals are off to their worst start in the Andy Dalton era.

New Orleans Saints (2-3): Drew Brees now has more 400-yard passing games than anyone in NFL history, making it to 15.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3): The Jags winning two games in their first five is their best start since 2010.

Miami Dolphins (2-4): Ryan Tannehill was pressured on only 2 of his 32 dropbacks in the win over the Steelers, the lowest percentage of his career.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3): The Bucs have a good shot of going above .500 with their upcoming schedule including a road game in San Francisco, then three straight at home vs Falcons, Raiders and Bears.

Carolina Panthers (1-5): None of the previous 4 teams that went from making the Super Bowl to start the season 1-5 made the playoffs.

New York Jets (1-5): The Jets have the worst offense in the NFL, scoring 15.8 points per game.

Chicago Bears (1-5): The Bears might be putting the ball in the air, but they’re only 31st in the NFL in scoring with 16.8 points per game.

San Francisco 49ers (1-5): The 49ers gave up 312 rushing yards in their loss to Buffalo, while Colin Kaepernick averaged just 3.7 yards per attempt with no pressure in the second half.

Cleveland Browns (0-6): The Browns have allowed two passing touchdowns or more in each of their last nine games, including 16 through the first six games of the season.
