For over a Billion people around the world, most of them in the Indian sub-continent, the best month and a half of the year is coming to an end. Yes, the Cricket World Cup. Sri Lanka beat New Zealand yesterday in the first Semi Final. The second one, dubbed by about a million nicknames, all with ‘war’ in them, is between India and Pakistan. Anyway, I just wanted to share this picture of people in Sri Lanka watching the cricket match in the steet on some small beaten up looking TV. The kids don’t look too interested though.
