Goalkeeper Mistake helps Dani Alves Score from 40 Meters out

Brazil defeated Uruguay 4-0 in Montevideo, Brazil’s first away win over Uruguay in 33 years and their first ever in a competitive game. Dani Alves, Barcelona’s right back scored a couple, with his first being a 40 meter shot that is clumsily mishandled by Uruguay’s keeper Sebastian Viera who didn’t have a very good day. Brazil are now level with Paraguay on top of the South American Qualifying group for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa with 24 points.
