The two have have a successful, to say the least, start to the season. Ronaldo? Scoring 17 goals in 17 matches, scoring his 100th Real Madrid goal in only his third season with the club. Messi is at 23 goals in all competitions, scoring his 200th goal for Barcelona.

Stop comparing them. Pisses me off to see all the hype about those 2 players in a second rate league.
Barcelona & Madrid are both dream teams with awesome players. All other liga teams are average at best… at best !!!
In terms of goals, Mario gomez is as good in a stronger league. What about DiNatale who scores a LOT of goals for Udinese (last 80 games, he scored 77 goals. Yeah. That’s impressive.).
And let’s not forget, Messi & Ronaldo kicks all freekick and all penalties.
What about VanPersie who has a ration of 1 in the last 20/30 games ?
Yes, Ronaldo & Messi are strong players but they’re playing in god-like teams and they both are THE KEY player. Everything is made for them. They both are average in national team.
When you watch liga, you know either Barcelona or madrid will win the league. You know either ronaldo ou messi will be the top scorer and you know either Messi or Ronaldo will be ballon d’or.
Liga is a boring league and there’s only 2 games we are waiting for, madrid vs Barca & Barca vs madrid.
^^ Except, they shit on Europe’s elite in the champions league as well. Messi tore the champions of supposedly the “hardest” league in the world (Man Utd) to pieces in this years champions league final. That whole la liga is shit argument is more a product of imagination that reality.
They didn’t tore anything. Don’t get me wrong, Barcelone is a great team, maybe one of the greatest of all time but their domination is over. Madrid is doing much better, finaly.
And yeah i think that liga is a second rate league and it will be even worse in the years to come. Madrid & Barcelona receive about 120m euro from TV rights, the other liga teams get close to nothing. In all other major leagues, it’s much more balance. Manchester united gets 60m and the last from EPL gets 40m.
Moreover, all other liga team must sell their stars to survive (often to madrid or barcelona). Even Valance, who is a popular team had to sell Villa to Barcelone (a direct opponent!!!!), Silva to City and mata to chelsea. (both to england…).
No wonder there was a strike because of unpaid players…
And just look at the national team. 90% of it are players from Barcelona or Madrid.
But there’s this huge media hype about those 2 teams and it’s getting annoying. Do you really think Abidal, Fabregas or even Casillas should be on the ballon d’or 23 players list ?
No VanPersie ? no Gomez ? no DiNatale ? no Falcao ? What about Vidic who did an outstanding season with United ? Cavani ?
That is just my point of view. Not saying i’m right…
That said, I think Xavi is the best player in the world. I think Messi could never be that good in a different team, he needs player like Iniesta & Xavi. (tbh I think both Iniesta & xavi are stronger)
Ronaldo scored 12 goals after Messi had eliminated Real Madrid from all competitions. Messi rested and Ronaldo took out his frustrations on la liga teams.
Comparing Messi to Ronaldo is a joke. We should start comparing him to the all time greats, not just another above average player that comes every 5 years.

we dont have to prolong the matter cristaino ronaldo should be compared with great players such as eric catonia,delima ronaldo,luis figo,zidan and some qualities players in the world of stars ,he is the first player in the epl to won the great honour in an english league.
ronaldo was a best player for man united and now he is still the best even for madrid so he proved that he is better than messi,without xavi,iniesta and busquets there is no messi so he is not the best those three are and he looks good bcoz of them,that is y he is struggling for argentina,if he can go to england he will not survive and u will all forget abt him.CR7 the best.ppl just stop comparing them,there are better players in this world who are playing in the worlds strongest leagues not liga,liga is like scotish liga(rangers and celtic have been ruling that league for the past decade.nothing spcl even PSL is better coz u know that many teams will fight for the tittle.liga boring and it will be fun on december 10th(elclasico)
