Roger Federer – 15 Years of Hair in 40 Seconds

Roger Federer has been part of the Tennis World, a prominent one, for nearly a decade now. Erupting onto the scene by beating Pete Sampras, and soon following it with four years of complete dominance on all courts except for the Roland Garros, with the final loose end taken care of in 2009.

His style? Never really changing. Effortless, clinical, perfect tennis when he’s in the right mood and form. It doesn’t happen that often these days, but during the 2004-2007 period, with Federer winning 11 Grand Slam titles in that four year period, it was pretty bloody impossible beating him on the hard or grass courts.

His hair however, has changed. From the awkward looking chap we first took notice of in 2003, be it the chubby face or the weird looking hair, Federer’s style has matured, or normalized, as the years have gone by. Maybe he had the epiphany himself, but there’s a good chance it has to do with him settling down, getting married, and becoming a father.

Someone thought it would be a good idea to make a 40 second video, showcasing with some cool graphics just how far Federer has come in terms of hair grooming over the years. Notice the receding hairline and the attempts to cover it up. A bit more successful than the LeBron James attempts if you ask me.
