Arsenal Beat Standard Liege 3-2 After a 2-0 Hole

Arsenal found themselves stunned after only four minutes, with Mangala stunning the gunners less than 2 minutes from the start, putting the Beglians 1-0 up and a very questionable penalty call putting them 2-0 down after only four minutes. Like four days ago against Manchester City, they found themselves chasing an opponent for most of the match. This time, they found a way to win.

Not a great game from the gunners, but a lot of character shown instead, helped them make it four from four for the English teams in the opening game week of the Champions League this season. Bendtner on the brink of half time made it 2-1 while Vermaelen (borderline offside) and the un-suspended Eduardo Da Silva turned the tables and gave Arsenal the comeback victory.

Eliaquim Mangala, 2nd minute

Milan Jovanovic, 4th minute

Nicklas Bendtner, 45th minute

Thomas Vermaelen, 78th minute

Eduardo Da Silva, 81st minute

In the second game in Group H, Olympiakos beat AZ Alkmaar 1-0, with Torisidis scoring the winner.
