A lot of movers up and down for yet another week, as South Carolina and West Virginia (huge fall) fell out of the top 5 after their losses to LSU and Texas Tech, while Alabama just keeps on winning, Florida are now in the top 3, Notre Dame and Kansas State keep climbing the rankings while Texas fell out of the AP Poll after a humiliating Red River Rivalry loss to Oklahoma.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide, 6-0 (60 first place votes) – Stayed where they were after another impressive win, this time away at Missouri, beating the Tigers 42-10 with Eddie Lacy running for 177 yards and 3 touchdowns.

2. Oregon Ducks, 6-0 – Didn’t play, didn’t move.

3. Florida Gators, 6-0 – The Gators move up one spot thanks to the SC loss and their own win over Vanderbilt in Tennessee 31-17, with QB Jeff Driskel running for 177 yards and 3 touchdowns.

4. Kansas State Wildcats, 6-0 – The only remaining undefeated team in the Big 12, Bill Snyder’s guys went into Ames and beat Iowa State 27-21 behind another big running day from running back Collin Klein who scored three touchdowns and climbing two spots.

5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 6-0 – A two spot climb after another defensive perofmance for the books, beating Stanford 20-13 in overtime.

6. LSU Tigers, 6-1 – The highest ranked one loss team in the nation, the Tigers kept their home streak win alive with a 23-21 win over South Carolina, moving up six spots in the rankings.

7. Ohio State Buckeyes, 7-0 – The pride of the Big Ten, although they can’t win the division or go to a bowl game. They moved up one spot, beating Indiana 52-49, with a big day from Calros Hyde on the ground, running for 156 yards.

8. Oregon State Beavers, 5-0 – Had no problem beating BYU 42-24 despite playing with their backup quarterback, moving up two spots in the rankings.

9. South Carolina Gamecocks, 6-1 – Fell six spots, suffering their first loss of the season, dropping their game in Baton Rouge against LSU, 21-23.

10. Oklahoma Sooners, 4-1 – Back in the top 10 (three place climb) after a huge win in the Red River Rivalry over Texas, beating the Longhorns 63-21, as Damien Williams ran for 167 yards.

11. USC Trojans, 5-1 – Didn’t move in the rankings after a win in Seattle over a tough Washington team, 24-14, held scoreless in the second half.

12. Florida State Seminoles, 6-1 – Another team that didn’t move, remaining the highest ranked ACC team after a very impressive home win at home against Boston College, winning 51-7.

13. Georgia Bulldogs, 5-1 – Didn’t play, moved up one spot.

14. Clemson Tigers, 5-1 – Didn’t play, moved up two spots.

15. Mississippi State Bulldogs, 6-0 – Moved up four spots after another SEC win, this time beating Tennessee 41-31.

16. Louisville Cardinals, 6-0 – Senorise Perry ran for 4 touchdowns, leading the Cardinals to a 45-35 win in Pittsburgh, moving up two spots.

17. West Virginia Mountaineers, 5-1 – The dramatic fall of the week, as West Virginia got destroyed in Lubbock against Texas Tech 14-49, dropping 12 places.

18. Texas Tech Red Radiers, 5-1 – Were unranked before this week, but they rebounded from their loss to Oklahoma with a huge offensive performance, beating WVU 49-14; Seth Deoge threw six touchdown passes and for 499 yards.

19. Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 6-0 – Climbed up one spot after showing once again some impressive defense, beating Syracuse 23-15.

20. Texas A&M Aggies, 5-1 – A huge game for Johnny Manziel in one of Saturday’s biggest games, as A&M beat Louisiana Tech 59-57, climbing two spots.

21. Cincinnati Bearcats, 5-0 – An easy win over Fordham keeps Cincy undefeated, but doesn’t really impress the voters who didn’t push them up the rankings after a 49-17 win.

22. Stanford Cardinal, 4-2 – The highest ranked two loss team in the nation, Stanford lost to Notre Dame 20-13 in overtime, falling five spots.

23. Michigan Wolverines, 4-2 – A 45-0 win over Illinois, as Denard Robinson threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more, pushed the Wolverines up two spots.

24. Boise State Broncos, 5-1 – Same place as as last week, beating Fresno State 20-10.

25. Ohio Bobcats, 7-0 – The Bobcats keep on winning, this time beating Akron 34-28 and making it into the rankings for the first time this season.
