A week that didn’t see a change at the top of the rankings (Alabama still perfect and strong) of the AP Poll, but a move up for Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame and even the resting LSU, thanks to Georgia ruining Florida’s season, opening up the SEC East. The Irish earned the second big win of week 9, proving their national title credentials by winning in Oklahoma.
1. Alabama Crimson Tide, 8-0 (60 first place votes) – People wanted the Tide to go through a real test, so the demolished previously undefeated Mississippi State 38-7.
