Arsenal Cruise at Wolverhampton, Beat Wolves 4-1

Not a brilliant performance from the gunners, but a mediocre outing is enough some days to get you four goals away from home, with a little help from the Wolverhampton defenders. Wolves got a few chances early in the game, but from the moment Zubar’s thigh helped an Arsenal corner find it’s way into Wolves’ goal, the game was over. Eduardo hit Craddock’s head a few minutes later and Fabregas sealed the game before the half was over after a brilliant Van Persie set up. The second half was ground for Wolves fans to show their sportsmanship and love for their failing team and hear McCarthy shout his lungs off, cheering on his motivated but defeated players. Arshavin’s goal (another one off a corner) was the games finest, while Joey Craddock completed a special double, making it 4-1 in the game’s dying moments.

Arsenal now find themselves second, 2 points behind Chelsea and level with United, while Wolves are deep deep down, at 18th.

Ronald Zubar (own goal), 28th minute

Joey Craddock (own goal), 35th minute

Cesc Fabregas, 45th minute

Andrei Arshavin, 66th minute

Joey Craddock, 89th minute
