Jerseys for 2013 NBA All-Star Game

The 2013 NBA All-Star game will take place in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center on February 17. While we still don’t know the starters situation, the league has released the designs for the jerseys the West and East teams will be wearing.

This is the third time the NBA All-Star game is played in the city of Houston. It happened for the first time in 1989, with the game and weekend being hosted inside the Astrodome, leading to 44,735 fans attending the game. In 2006, Houston hosted the even again inside the Toyota Center, with two players from the Rockets, Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming, starting in the lineup for the Western Conference.

There’s a pretty good chance that James Harden will be among the 12 players in the Western team for the game this year, while Jeremy Lin has a chance of making it as a starter thanks to his popularity in Asia, although at the moment he’s trailing in the votes behind the two projected starters.

Here at Sportige we chose who we think should be playing for both conferences in the All-Star game last month. Harden made our Western conference bench.
