Second week in a row that Chelsea fails to get their points, this time at home, dropping their first points of the season at Stamford Bridge as struggling Everton (1 win in last 10 matches) were able to come away with a 3-3 draw against the league leaders (not for long if United beat Aston Villa later on this evening). Chelsea dominated, had Drogba in excellent form (2 goals, making it 13 this season, leads league) but that wasn’t enough, on a day which saw Everton cause panic in Chelsea’s penalty box every time the ball got crossed and dropped in there. Everton didn’t manage too many chances, but they made the most of what they had, including a Petr Cech own goal and a ball bouncing off Saha’s back into Chec’s net. The Africa nation’s cup isn’t too far away, and without Drogba, Ancelotti’s team is going to need some help by the looks of things in recent weeks.
