NBA Playoffs, 1988 – Off Court Victims

Funny piece of film from a playoff game in 1988 between the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks. May 22, game 7 of the Eastern conference semi final, when Dominique Wilkins and Larry Bird dueled it out, with Wilkins finishing with 47 and Bird with 34, 20 of them in the fourth quarter. Boston went on to win 118-116. The game was truly intense, but it had one incredibly funny moment – at the end of the third quarter a Hawks player tried to make a basket from about 90 feet, missing completely, hitting a guy straight in the head. It’s even funnier when the commentators start drawing circles and arrows on screen, describing the bulls-eye hit.
