After the second Sunday of the 2010 NFL season, here are six guys who were a bit (or more) better than anyone else who played yesterday.
Jason Snelling, Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons’ third-string running back hardly got any touches in the loss to the Steelers last week, but was huge against the Cardinals in the Falcons’ home debut in 2010, running for 129 yards, two touchdowns and adding 57 receiving yards and catching another touchdown. Snelling led the Falcons to their first win of the season, a crushing 41-7 demolition of the Arizona Cardinals.
Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles

Vick, maybe on his road to professional redemption, got his first win as an Eagle, leading Philly to a 35-32 win, passing for 284 yards and two touchdowns and also running for another 37 yards, building on his impressive game last week against the Packers.
LeSean McCoy had a huge game as well, running for three touchdowns and 120 yards, tying his entire 2009 rookie year touchdown number (4) after two games in 2010.
Clay Matthews, Green Bay Packers

Clay Matthews will feature in another quarterback’s nightmare this week, after delivering another 3 sack game, this time punishing the Bills’ and their QB Trent Edwards as the Packers won 31-7, making it a 2-0 start for them.
Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos

Kyle Orton had his fourth career 300+ passing yards game and the first that brought the Broncos a win since week 5 of the 2009 season, while finding Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas for two touchdowns in the Broncos’ first win of the season, beating Seattle 31-14.
Antoine Cason, San Diego Chargers

Forcing three turnovers – two interceptions and one forced fumble, Cason was the life, speed and power behind the Chargers 38-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Phillipp Rivers throwing for three touchdowns and Antonio Gates catching two of them, reaching 62 career TD’s, second most by an NFL tight end.

I found your entry interesting do I’ve added a Trackback to it on my weblog :)…
Glad to see you put Vick on this list, he was really impressive last Sunday. It was enjoyable to watch him throw great passes, run and break tackles.
Yeah Vick has been fantastic during the first two games this season… Maybe jail did him some good
