Antonio Cromartie

The New York Jets are on the verge of turning their cornerback situation around completely as they attempt to complete the signing of Antonio Cromartie, who has a history with the team.

After signing Darrelle Revis and already having Buster Skrine as their number two option, the Jets are hoping that they can bring Cromartie on board following his one year stint in Arizona with the Cardinals.

When Cromartie played for the Cardinals, Todd Bowles was his defensive coordinator. Now Bowles is the head coach of the Jets, which is another incentive for the 30 year old to join.

Cromartie has made the Pro Bowl four times, including the last three seasons. He played for the Jets from 2010 through 2013 and still has a house in the area, and according to rumors he would very much like to return to New York.

Cromartie started his career in 2006 with the San Diego Chargers. He led the NFL in interceptions a season later, earning him a Pro Bowl selection and also to the first team All-Pro.
