The list of interested parties in Jermaine Gresham is growing longer. The former Cincinnati Bengals is adding the Green Bay Packers to the teams he’s visited, already completing his meetings with the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.
The Saints actually have an offer waiting for Gresham, and the Cardinals, who aren’t exactly overflowing in talented tight ends, are very interested in signing him as well.
Gresham has been a Bengals player since 2010 (first round pick), making the Pro Bowl twice (2011, 2012) and missing only six games in five seasons.
He caught 62 passes for 460 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. Gresham isn’t the kind of tight end who is going to put up Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski numbers all of a sudden, but he’s a solid passing option which could make a big difference with the right quarterback throwing the ball at him, and it’s certainly the case with Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees as teammate prospects.
