Reports from the Cleveland Browns training camp suggests that Terrelle Pryor is closer to being a meaningful wide receiver for them next season than getting cut yet again by another team.

This tweet might mean nothing; that the Bengals are simply trying out certain things with a player that has only recently switched his position to wide receiver from quarterback.

But it could mean that Pryor’s last minute move to save his NFL career is working. Since being traded by the Raiders to Seattle, he’s been cut by the Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, before announcing he’s completing his switch to wide receiver, which gives him a new hope of staying in the league.

A pick in the 2011 supplemental draft, Pryor started the 2013 season as the team’s starting quarterback. He had some dazzling plays and even games, mostly thanks to his running skills, but overall, his tenure behind an awful offensive line never took off, which set off his long road to finding a team and some playing time again.

It’s still very early in training camp to actually tell if Pryor is going to end up on the Browns, but having some reps with the first team can’t be a bad thing, can it?
