The Seattle Seahawks still don’t look very polished or good in preseason, as Russell Wilson continues to play behind a banged up offensive line and without Marshawn Lynch or Kam Chancellor.
Bobby Wagner scored the only touchdown for the Seahawks on a pick-six off of Alex Smith, returning it 25 yards. The Seahawks offense overall had just 227 yards, scoring just three points through a Steven Hauschka field goal.
Wilson completed 9-of-15 passes for 78 yards and rushed his way for a couple of yards one time. Christine Michael ran for 27 yards on 10 carries, getting the bulk of carries while Lynch just travels with the team but doesn’t play.
Chancellor is still holding out, trying to get someone to give him a new deal while the Seahawks don’t negotiate with players who have more than one year on their deal.
The Seahawks featured three new players in the offensive line which didn’t look good early on but improved as the game moved on. Last season, despite Wilson’s success, the Seahawks struggled putting a solid pass protection unit in front of him, something they have to improve on this season.
