NFL Rumors – Indianapolis Colts Interested in Signing Devon Still

Devon Still

After getting cut by the Cincinnati Bengals, Devon Still is trying to find his way on a team with problems on the defensive line like the Indianapolis Colts.

The three-year veteran at defensive tackle worked out for the Indianapolis Colts, who need some help with their depth at the DL, and are obviously concerned about how bad they looked in the week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The offense looked bad and overwhelmed for sure, but the defense struggled against Tyrod Taylor and his athleticism, with the Bills mixing thing up, able to keep the Colts defense guessing, and clearly showed that they’re not really equipped to deal with a quarterback that runs so well.

Still played three seasons for the Bengals, never starting a game, accumulating 40 tackles, 0.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble in 30 games. A disappointing second round pick out of Penn State, Still was an All-American in 2011 and the Big Ten defensive player of the year.

The Bengals did release him 10 days ago, but they also kept him for a while on the practice squad while he healed from his hamstring injury, and also to help him pay for his daughter’s cancer treatment. He played a bit in the preseason, but at a certain point he was activated and released from the 53-man squad.
