He’ll never win an MVP, he’ll never make it into the hall of fame. He’ll probably never win an NBA title but that’s really too early to call, you never know where a career takes you. Still, he’s still amazing, from time to time, his nickname abiding. Carter scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns beat the New York Knicks last night. Carter’s awesome night led to a 129-121 victory, a third straight for the Suns. More importantly on a personal level, it got Carter to 20,000 career points. 20,020 To be exact, the 37th player to reach that mark. 30 More points and he’ll be 36th, ahead of Tom Chambers.
