In one of their easiest wins of the season, Barcelona romped through Real Sociedad 4-0 with a brace from Neymar and more goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, his first goal since coming back from injury on his first start.
It was one of those matches that we’ve grown accustomed to in the Camp Nou over the last five or six seasons, with teams coming with a weird approach that’s neither defensive or too attacking, but leaving things quite open for the Barcelona midfield, and even more surprisingly for the Barcelona wings to exploit.
The first two goals came from Dani Alves (difficult to imagine his form over the last 18 months compared to the year before that), twice setting Neymar and Suarez up for goals from the right wing. Suarez’ goal, the second one, was extremely pleasing, coming from behind Messi and Neymar waiting in the box to hit it with a one touch volley into the net.
Messi scored his goal in injury time, with Neymar finding it quite easy to make his way inside the box while Messi was moving in from behind the broken defense to score his goal, for a perfect afternoon as far as Barcelona and the MSN scoring trio is concerned, completing a perfect week with wins against Real Madrid, Roma and Sociedad for dessert.
