The Las Vegas NBA Summer League continues, as we move forward, the Boston Celtics can be happier and happier with what they’re seeing from Jaylen Brown, who had a slow start to his Summer League career, but has been looking better and better with every game.

Sacramento Kings 61  Atlanta Hawks 81: An impressive game from Taurean Prince, who had a late start to the summer league, scoring 21 points in just 24 minutes, to go with 9 rebounds. The Hawks were happy with what they got from Deandre Bembry as well, scoring 13 points. Skal Labissiere scored 9 points off the bench for the Kings, who are still unsure about Georgios Papagiannis, who will need a lot of time to develop.

New Orleans Pelicans 77  Miami Heat 81: Buddy Hield scored 16 points for the Pelicans but needed 17 shots to get there, on the day he won an award at the ESPYs. Briante Weber led the Heat with 18 points, and Okaro White helped out with 17.

Minnesota Timberwolves 80  San Antonio Spurs 71: The Timberwolves weren’t just happy with the win, but with what they got from Adreian Payne, scoring 20 points to go with 7 rebounds. He has a crowded frontcourt to try and win minutes in this season. Tyus Jones looked good with 15 points, but his size will always make it difficult for him in the league. Jonathon Simmons scored 19 for the Spurs, Dejounte Murray helped out with 14, but is shooting just 26.5% from the field in four games.

Philadelphia 76ers 106  D-League select 71: No Ben Simmons for the Sixers, who didn’t need his help this time. Shawn Long scored 21 points and Brandon Paul finished with 20 for the Sixers. Brandon Fields led the D-League team with 15 points.

Boston Celtics 94  Cleveland Cavaliers 98: Despite the loss, the Celtics were happy with Brown’s performance, scoring 25 points to go with 9 rebounds. Terry Rozier had 24 in a strong summer league overall for him. Jordan McRae was once again the guy for the Cavs with 32 points, and it’s interesting if they’ll try to give him more minutes this season. Kay Felder, the second round pick, finished with 22 points, but a 5’9, it’s always going to be difficult for him in the league.

Portland Trail Blazers 71  Utah Jazz 86: Tibor Pleiss led the Jazz with 20 points while Marcus Paige disappointed, scoring only 5. Joel Bolomboy had 14 points, grabbing 9 rebounds too. Pierre Jackson led the Blazers with 18 points.

Milwaukee Bucks 64  Dallas Mavericks 81: The most memorable moment from this game is Mark Cuban remarking that Thon Maker looks good for a 40-year old. Maker finished with 17 points, needing 17 shots to get there.

Houston Rockets 76  Golden State Warriors 80: K.J. McDaniels scored 25 points to lead the Rockets, helped by 16 from Montrezl Harrell. Keifer Sykes was once again the best scorer for the Warriors, finishing with 17 points thanks to some good long range shooting.
