NBA Opening Night Games Scores & Standings
The NBA 2016-2017 opening night provided two blowouts and one entertaining close game. The NBA champions Cleveland Cavaliers enjoyed a triple double from LeBron James as they crushed the New York Knicks, the Portland Trail Blazers needed late heroics from Damian Lillard & C.J. McCollum to beat the Utah Jazz, while Kawhi Leonard & the San Antonio Spurs came to the Oracle Arena and slapped the Golden State Warriors wide awake.

NFL Scores & Standings Week 7
This weird season continued its strange ways in week 7 as well, as the Minnesota Vikings lost for the first time this season, succumbing to Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles. The New England Patriots easily dispatched the Roethlisberger-less Pittsburgh Steelers, the San Diego Chargers came back from 17-points down to beat the Atlanta Falcons in the best game of 2016 so far, while the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals failed to score a touchdown in 75 minutes of football, giving us the first tie of the season in the worst way possible.

College Football Week 8 Scores & Standings
Things are getting clearer across the college football landscape, as Alabama manhandle Texas A&M to remain to only undefeated team in the SEC, while Ohio State inexplicably lose at Penn State, leaving the path towards a division title in the Big Ten east wide open for a dominant Michigan team, having no trouble against Illinois. Washington looked dominant again and a class above the rest of the Pac-12, while West Virginia continue their surprising season, although Oklahoma’s offense could be something they struggle with when it’s time to face the music.

MLB Playoffs: Chicago Cubs Start Scoring, Cleveland Indians Make World Series
The Cleveland Indians completed their ACLS victory over the Toronto Blue Jays, setting up their first World Series appearance in almost 20 years. Meanwhile, after two games without a run, the Chicago Cubs finally figure out a way to get some scoring going, to tie their champions series with the Los Angeles Dodgers at 2-2.

NBA Preseason Game Scores
The NBA preseason moves on, bringing us closer and closer to the real thing. In a five-game night of exhibition basketball, the Washington Wizards beat the NBA champions, the Miami Heat walked all over the Orlando Magic and the Oklahoma City Thunder showed that while Russell Westbrook is playing, they’re doing just fine.

NFL Standings & Scores
While the Minnesota Vikings enjoy their bye week, both the New England Patriots on their Tom Brady-Rob Gronkowski rampage tour, and the Dallas Cowboys on their Dak Prescott-Ezekiel Elliott rookie run, set themselves apart from the rest of the NFL. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers and worse, injured Ben Roethlisberger which could make a huge difference in how this season develops.

An interesting night of preseason basketball had some division rivals testing things out: The Golden State Warriors big three doing anything they wanted to against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics looking very good against the New York Knicks, and the Chicago Bulls, without their key players, looking extremely dominant vs the Milwaukee Bucks.

NHL Standings & Scores
A busy night of hockey, with the Toronto Maple Leafs getting their first win of the season, and so did the Chicago Blackhawks thanks to a Richard Panik hat trick. The Pittsburgh Penguins improved to 2-0 behind Phil Kessel and Marc-Andre Fleury, and the Colorado Avalanche survived the high scoring affair with the Dallas Stars, led by a hat trick from Joe Colborne.
