Kevin Love, A Season of Failure and Injuries
As if Kevin Love needed another nail in the coffin that is his 2012-2013 season, the news of him needing arthroscopic surgery to remove a buildup of scar tissue in his left knee came and completely crushed any chance of him playing a few games for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the garbage time of the season, making it a campaign that started badly and ended the same way for the team’s star.

New York Knicks – Tyson Chandler With a Special Rebounding Streak
For the first time in over 40 years, a player from the New York Knicks has a streak of 20 rebounds or more that goes on for at least three games. Tyson Chandler has been a big part of why the team has been so close to the Eastern number one spot this season, and it’s nice when a player who does a lot of the dirty work (meaning not scoring) gets some recognition for the numbers he pulls off.

Minnesota Timberwolves – The Never Ending Injury List
Some might say that regardless of their injuries, the Minnesota Timberwolves weren’t supposed to make the playoffs this season. That’s debatable, but what isn’t is their incredible line of injured players now and earlier, including Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Chase Budinger and Brandon Roy.

Andrei Kirilenko is injured, Brandon Roy is facing retirement again. Not stability whatsoever, but the Timberwolves are in a good place, rebounding from a long losing streak, waiting for the return of their prodigal point guard.

NBA Season Preview: Best Power Forwards
When it comes to pure power forwards, or more accurately, players who can’t or hardly will play as centers, there’s not perfect player or complete package. Each flawed in his own way, Josh Smith, Blake Griffin, Pau Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge and above all Kevin Love consist of the best in the position among NBA players.

Minnesota Timberwolves – No Hope Without Kevin Love
The Minnesota Timberwolves are built around Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio, aiming for a first playoff appearance since 2004. After missing out on the postseason last year due to Rubio’s torn ACL, Kevin Love’s broken hand means both of them won’t be available for the early part of the NBA Season.
