Euro 2012 – Day 3 Summary (Spain vs Italy, Ireland vs Croatia)
Italy, as always, were too tough of a nugget for Spain to beat, displaying a strong defense that was good enough to draw with the usual elegant passing of the Spanish midfield (1-1). The later match provided a bit more goals due to the quality differences between Croatia and Ireland, as Mario Mandzukic became the second brace scorer in Euro 2012.

Euro 2012 – Day 3 Predictions (Spain – Italy, Ireland – Croatia)
After seeing the first upset of the tournament yesterday, Spain hope not to be the next tournament favorites to drop point on their opening match. It’s funny treating Italy as such underdogs, but that’s their situation. Ireland and Croatia will close the day in Group C, in one of the toughest matches to predict in Euro 2012.

Wimbledon 2011 – Day 3 in Pictures
A few lower seeded players like Stanislas Wawrinka and Fernando Verdasco ended their Wimlbedon experience early today to some surprise. The big guns, primarily Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray, didn’t have too many problems.

Gilles Simon didn’t make it easy for Roger Federer, taking the Australian Open 2010 champions through a five setter which the Swiss master eventually took over, winning 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 and advances to the third round.
