Match Highlights – France vs Honduras
For the first time we had a match in this World Cup that had a chance of being remembered more for its brutality and violence and not the football, but eventually Honduras calmed down and accepted their fate of losing to a much better side, as France came away with a 3-0 win to take the top spot in Group E, getting a brace from Karim Benzema and another own goal off of goalkeeper Noel Valladares.

Match Highlights – Switzerland vs Ecuador
Another fantastic match to open play in Group E of the 2014 World Cup, as Switzerland conjure up a dramatic win with a Haris Serefovic goal in the very last minute of injury time, beating Ecuador 2-1. The South Americans actually took the lead through Enner Valencia, but another substitute, Admir Mehmedi, equalized early in the second half.

2014 World Cup – Day 4 Predictions (Argentina vs Bosnia, France vs Honduras, Switzerland vs Ecuador)
In day 4 of the 2014 World Cup, we will get to see two matches from Group E as France take on Honduras and Switzerland plays Ecuador, although the main course will be the one that comes last, as Argentina play their main rivals for supremacy in Group F, facing Bosnia in Rio de Janeiro.

World Cup – Group E Predictions
A Group with a distinct Europe vs Latin America feel to it, the obvious favorites to qualify, France, aren’t as comfortable as earlier expected to finish first in Group D, as the young Swiss team should give them plenty of problems for the top spot, while Ecuador and Honduras, at the moment at least, look like sides without the capability of going any further in the World Cup.

Awesome goals day, asItaly made like France and got knocked out of the World Cup by Slovakia (deserving) who joined Slovakia from Group F, facing the Netherlands who finished a perfect group stage by beating pointless Cameroon while Japan turned on the style, led by Honda, against Denmark, in their 3-2 win.
