Oklahoma Over Texas – Big 12 Humiliation No One Expected
The fans were very quiet inside the Frank Erwin Center during and after Oklahoma finished ripping Texas apart, beating the Longhorns 70-49 with an excellent display of defense and smart, unselfish offense, suggesting they should be taken very seriously in the Big 12 this season.

Clemson Over Oklahoma – Another Big 12 Team Getting Crushed
It wasn’t a very good day for Big 12 teams (0-3), with Oklahoma suffering the worst loss, going down 40-6 in the Citrus Bowl against Clemson, enjoying a fine final performance from Cole Stoudt while Trevor Knight proved once again he is not the quarterback the Sooners were looking for.

College Basketball Upsets – North Carolina, UCLA & Florida Go Down
The Battle 4 Atlantis provided three upsets of ranked teams in the same day: North Carolina lost to Butler 74-66, Oklahoma surprised UCLA with a 75-65 victory and Georgetown remained undefeated, handing Florida their second loss of the season, beating the Gators 66-65 in overtime off of a D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera winning jumper.

Creighton Over Oklahoma – The First Real Ranked Upset of the Season
The Bluejays aren’t getting the love they did in the polls last season, but beating them at home is still incredibly difficult. Creighton pulled off the first big upset over a ranked team this season by beating Oklahoma (number 18) 65-63 in the loud and very difficult to play in CenturyLink Center.

Oklahoma Sooners – Kicking Might Have Ruined Their Season
Maybe the SEC is overrated, but Bob Stoops has other problems that might stand in his way of winning the Big 12 or making the College Football playoff. A 31-30 home loss to Kansas State can be blamed on a number of things, but it’ll come down to Michael Hunnicutt missing an easy field goal and having an extra point attempt blocked as the reason the Sooners lost for the second time this season.
