    The LA Lakers gave Phil Jackson his 200th career playoff win as they dismantled the Houston Rockets 118-78 in LA to grab a 3-2 lead in the series. Kobe Bryant scored 26 leading 6 other players in double figures.

    The Houston Rockets weren’t given much of a chance going against the Los Angeles Lakers without Yao Ming. So What? Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola and Shane Battier stepped up for the Rockets while only Gasol performed for the Lakers on an off night for Kobe Bryant.

    The Lakers decided that beating up on Yao Ming and the Rockets gives the a better shot in winning this series. So they did, tied things at 1-1 as Kobe Bryant scored 40 while Gasol and Odom limited Yao Ming to only 12 points.

  • Rockets Take Game 1 in LA, Beat Lakers 100-92

    The Rockets couldn’t win against the Lakers in the regular season. They lost 4 times. Come playoff times, none of that matters, as Yao Ming and Ron Artest played great on both ends of the court while Kobe Bryant tried to win the game by himself as the Rockets took Game 1 in LA. Boston continued to make theirs a hard playoff as they dropped game 1 at home, again, to Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic.
