While the Andy Reid Bowl will be the focus of the week 3 opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, at the heart of this clash will be the attempts of the home side to be more than just a super-quick offensive team, while the visitors will try to simply slow them down, like they’ve done well against their other NFC opponents last week.

2013 College Football Season – Week 3 Rankings
Not a lot of movement in the top 25, as even the Alabama win over Texas A&M dropped the Aggies only four spots, keeping them among the top 10. Oregon kept their place and first place vote thanks to a big win over Tennessee, while Ole Miss were the biggest risers after beating Texas, while Arizona State and Texas Tech made it into the rankings for the first time in 2013.

Both the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens weren’t expecting to be 1-1 at this point, but the Ravens have an excuse of playing a stronger opponent in their loss. Still, the losses put an extra weight of pressure in their AFC championship game rematch going down in Baltimore, as the focus game of week 3.

The big moves this time were Notre Dame, moving up 11 spots after beating Michigan State; and Stanford, stunning USC 21-14, making a 12 place climb.
