NBA Playoffs – Chicago Bulls Not Out For the Count
A championship team? How about a team about to lose a first round series with home court advantage for the second time in three seasons. The Chicago Bulls looked like a team that can win the East due to the weakness of the perceived two favorites, but two close losses to the Washington Wizards have changed that notion in most people’s minds. But a team that relies on defense and effort, not on hot shooting or a certain player getting hot, can’t be counted out, when the talent gaps aren’t that big if they’re there at all.

Wizards Over Bulls – A Sweep in the Making
The coaching staff for the Washington Wizards did an excellent job of scouting and analyzing the ways to beat the Chicago Bulls, coming up with a 101-99 win in overtime which wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Bradley Beal igniting in the fourth quarter with no one able to stop him, while Kirk Hinrich missed two free throws at the end of the game that could have given us a little bit more basketball instead of sending his team into a 2-0 hole.

NBA Playoffs – Wizards vs Bulls Series Predictions
For the Washington Wizards, making the playoffs was the goal, and everything else is a bonus. The Chicago Bulls looked like championship contenders, maybe even favorites, when the season began. Then injuries happened, and a trade. But something clicked, and an excellent blend of defense and rebounding, not to mention the weakness of the more popular choices for favorites in the East make them think about a title once more.
