The three most recruited states in College Football are Florida, California and Texas. No one recruits better beyond state lines than Bob Stoops and Oklahoma, with a strong foothold in Texas. Nick Saban and Alabama do great about everywhere while other schools like Clemson, Oregon and Ohio State do very well beyond borderlines as well.

Which Conference Will Finally Beat the SEC
Last season, the USC Trojans, were picked #1 on the AP Poll, preseason. They ended up having a 7-6 season and losing their bowl game, not beating a single ranked team along the way. Meanwhile, the SEC (Alabama) won another BCS national title and five teams in the top 10 of the final college football rankings.

And to think that Georgia Tech needed an NCAA waiver to play in the Sun Bowl, after finishing the regular season with a 6-7 record. The option, with Tevin Washington and Vad Lee worked very well and was supported by a defense that intercepted the USC quarterback, as the team that began the season as number one hit another low point in a year filled with them.

The second week of College Football should be a rather easy one for the national champion contenders, with Alabama hosting Western Kentucky, USC visiting Syracuse and LSU hosting Washington. The most interesting games should be SEC debuts for Missouri, hosting Georgia, and Texas A&M hosting Florida.
