  • Petr Cech The Only Player Worth Mentioning (Arsenal vs Chelsea)

Petr Cech wasn’t that busy, but he kept his good form in another match in which Chelsea didn’t look to interested in winning, not having the fortune of having Drogba to poach a goal. Arsenal had their moments, but in general, it was a very disappointing 0-0 draw in the London derby, with Tottenham and Newcastle enjoying the goalless affair.

  • Mikel Arteta Goal Ends Manchester City Title Dreams

Mikel Arteta waited for the 87th minute to send a dagger and score the only goal in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Manchester City, breaking Roberto Mancini and Manchester City’s fans hearts by making it an 8 point gap between Manchester United and the second place, as Arsene Wenger helped Alex Ferguson win (probably) another Premier League title.

  • Robin van Persie is Just the “Bad” Guy Arsenal Need

Robin van Persie scored his 26th league goal of the season for Arsenal, countering Hatem Ben Arfa’s opener for Newcastle in what became a dramatic 2-1 win for the Gunners, putting them a point behind Tottenham in the battle for third. More importantly, the Arsenal captain showed signs that Arsenal might be growing out of their long and disappointing “soft” phase.

  • Typical Arsenal and Untypical Robin van Persie

Arsenal almost pulled off something that we’ve never seen in the Champions League, but a 3-0 over AC Milan was not enough, and Arsene Wenger’s men were left with compliments and bemoaning about why Robin van Persie tried to chip the ball over Abbiati instead of, well, anything else.

  • Champions League Round of 16 Second Legs Previews – Part I

Champions League action returns this week, with the first night split between the venues in London, where Arsenal will try and mount an improbable comeback from 4-0 down against an AC Milan side hitting its stride at the perfect time, while Zenit have the tough task of facing Benfica at the Estadio Da Luz, trying to maintain their 3-2 lead from the frozen first leg in Russia.

  • Van Persie Doubles Up at Anfield (Liverpool vs Arsenal)

Liverpool scored first, but failed to capitalize on their superiority all throughout the match. Arsenal didn’t attack much, but Robin Van Persie was there to do his usual fabulous finishing job, scoring twice, including a quality volley in injury time, to give Arsenal a 2-1 win over the Reds and be the first team to leave Anfield with 3 points.

  • There’s Only One Team in North London (Arsenal vs Tottenham)

Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are navigating through a terrible season in their standards, but their 5-2 win over Tottenham in the North London Derby, in their best display of the season with Theo Walcott scoring twice to cap off a comeback from 0-2 down will undoubtedly raise the spirits back to normal among Gunners fans, at least for a week or so.

  • Arsene Wenger So Bad It’s Meme Worthy

Arsene Wenger is in trouble again, with Arsenal hitting the wrong kind of form in all competitions for the second time this season. It’s been so bad that it actually deserved an internet meme interpretation, putting Wenger in the What People Think I Do/ What I really Do pantheon.

  • Milan vs Arsenal – Zlatan Ibrahimovic Rules in First Leg Thrashing

Zlatan Ibrahimovic needs to put all the Champions League criticism behind him, and his sublime performance against Arsenal, leading AC Milan to a 4-0 thrashing of a helpless and confused Arsenal side with one goal and two assists, was a good start on his way to the Champions League quarter finals.

  • Henry Can Grant Arsene Wenger Vital Parting Gift

Theirry Henry will be playing his final game in the very short second stint he’s had at Arsenal, facing AC Milan at the San Siro. Although this won’t neccesarily be Henry’s final Arsenal match, there’s that usual melancholy feeling of a legend leaving a bit too soon.
